Mark Pearson | Pearson Pilings

Mark PearsonPresident

Entrepreneur and community leader Mark Pearson has spent decades bringing fiberglass technology into the marketplace. As the current president and owner of Pearson Pilings, he has guided the company to a position of leadership in providing composite pilings for the marine construction, residential and commercial building industries.

He honed his expertise in human resources, production and management serving as president and other executive management positions within composite manufacturing family businesses including Tillotson Pearson, Pearson Composites and SwimEx, Inc.

Through his involvement with local organizations such as St. Matthew Trinity Lutheran Church, where he has served as deacon, president and vice president; and East Bay Chamber of Commerce, Touisset Point Community Club, Greater Fall River Development Corporation and the East Bay YMCA, Mark shares his infectious integrity, faith and commitment.

His work to further education in the community includes partnerships with the Paul Cuffee Charter School, Darlington Early Learning Center, Sailing Institute and mentoring for the entrepreneurial group EforAll and has helped to foster a new generation of leaders.

As president of Pearson Pilings, a role he has held since 2005, Mark honors his community, collaborates with his family and serves his customer.  An avid golfer, Mark resides in Warren, RI with his wife, Tracy. They have three children, Kelly, Hannah and Nicholas.

Nick Pearson | Pearson Pilings

Nick PearsonSales Representative

Son of Pearson Pilings president and grandson of its founder Nicholas (Nick) Pearson officially joined the family business in 2016. Nick’s main role is as sales representative but the skilled welder also oversees the manufacturing facility. An avid skier and golfer, the Rhode-Island native attended Roger Williams University. With a love of boating and an astute mechanical aptitude, Nick shares his passion for pilings with customers and partners across New England.

Sean Maiorano | Pearson Pilings

Sean MaioranoOperations

With a background in marine biology and a passion for marine exploration and sustainability, Sean Maiorano is well suited to his role heading operations for Pearson Pilings. He joined the company in July 2018 assisting with production. Today he creates content, handles photography and collaborates with the rest of the Pearson team in running and growing the enterprise. Sean graduated Cum Laude from Roger Williams University with a BS in Marine Biology. His experience, which  includes oyster farming, construction and volunteer firefighting demonstrates his appreciation for aquaculture, engineering and the environment. In his free time, Sean enjoys fishing, scuba diving and photography.

Peter ClarkSales Representative

Peter Clark serves as a sales representative for Pearson Pilings sharing his expertise along the Southeastern Coast from Alabama to Texas. Throughout Peter’s career he has overseen sales organizations for multiple companies, all within the marine industry. Peter has partnered with Pearson for 11 years and also owns his own venture, Gulf Coast Marine Solutions. Steve McGovernSales Representative

Steve McGovern serves as a sales representative for Pearson Pilings in the state of New Jersey. With over 40 years of experience in the marine industry Steve brings a great deal of knowledge to the Pearson Pilings team. Steve’s career has taken him from working on tugs and delivering yachts to being a key part of his family’s business, The Mack Boring & Parts Company. In his free time Steve enjoys boating and spending time on the water.
